Frosty Cold

Far away, i saw light,

the sky was coloured,

In shades of orange

Like drops of paint in white.

Sitting over a pile of corpses,

Like my old dreams,

I was quenching my eyes,

With hope and wishes.

Leaving behind fairy tales,

I limped over the ice,

Frosting my feet numb,

But it became dark again.

My veins pricking me,

As if punishing for my decisions,

Then came another morning,

And i walked a little more.

Basking in its warmth,

Wondering if i can ever reach,

But that night,

My teeth chattered little less.
