Wandering among the woods,
to the chirping of birds,
I walked unaware to the place waiting for me,
long and far, meandering with pain alone,
I found a silent cave.
The joyful spring water,
cradled over the strong white rocks,
cutting through the crevices, made their way to the flow.
The harmonious splash echoed through the cave,
and the drizzling rain only added to the melody,
filling the hollow cave with its enchanted song.
Buddha statue sat inside, meditating to bliss,
There, i sat for hours,
Emotions gushing into every cavity of my body.
Tired of screams, i stopped listening,
My attention drifted to the smile on his face.
As sun melted into the horizon,
he left moon behind, filled in his warmth.
The stars sparkled on the water like diamonds,
rusting away my fears.
Eroding the contemplation to sand grains.
I smiled as tears filled my eyes,
Now my body is a cave filled with bliss,
echoing with universe, in love.
